The Nitro Bar: As seen on Tiktok, IYKYK. The Nitro Bar in Newport is a must-try for coffee lovers, serving up classic and creative coffee drinks (like a black raspberry chip latté...um yum!?) along with tasty breakfast bites.

Drift Café: Located on the wharf, Drift Café offers a variety of delicious breakfast options, from refreshing smoothies to savory wraps and bowls. Perfect for a quick bite, whether you stay or take it with you to a nearby spot (like the Newport Harbor across the road!).

Belle's: Belle’s in Newport offers the perfect casual breakfast by the water, with cozy indoor seating and a large charming outdoor patio. Enjoy easy bites and stunning views before you get your day started (ps. expect a wait, especially for large groups, on those busy summer days!).

Castle Hill Inn: Infamous, and well worth it. The picture-worthy views from the expansive lawn make a great setting for a sunset cocktail. With a large outdoor bar, you don't have to worry going in-and-out of the Inn to get your next drink. No reservations are required to get a drink + hang with your gals on the lawn, but the tables on the terrace require a reservation.

The Roof Deck at The Vanderbilt: For a sophisticated sunset drink, The Vanderbilt Roof Deck is the place to be. With its chic ambiance, small plates, and stunning views, it’s perfect for a happy hour cocktail with a few friends.

The Landing: For a casual outdoor setting in the Wharf with live music, the Landing is your spot. With 2 levels and bars on both floors, you have lots of options to choose from.

Giusto: Located at Hammetts Hotel, Giusto offers a stylish happy hour spot with beautiful water views from the wharf and both indoor and outdoor seating, including a large outdoor bar. Perfect for large groups, it’s the ideal spot for light bites and drinks in a relaxed yet fabulous atmosphere.

Hannah's Tip: "The Wharf is a great location to bar hop without having to make any specific plans or Uber from place-to-place — you can walk down Thames Street and just pop into any bars you come across!"
